Unlike rooftop solar panels, our system allows you to move the panels to where the sun is shining (within 25 feet of your Airstream or other RV), and angle them to optimize solar capture.

Plugs into your the trailer's solar port or 7-way plug. If you have a factory-installed solar port, you can combine two systems for up to 400 watts! Read this article for details.

Also includes an XT60 adapter for connecting to portable power stations. If you have a Sorein Power Station, we recommend considering the Sorein 400W Solar Panel.

IMPORTANT: If you don't have a solar port that looks like one of those shown below, choose the option "with 7-way plug adapter" when placing your order. The adapter enables you to plug the Portable Solar Kit into your 7-way plug instead of the solar port. (Except 2024 and later Trade Wind models. Those trailers cannot use the 7-way adapter.)

The Portable Solar Kit can be monitored and even re-programmed for specialized needs, with a third party mobile app for iPhone. (NOTE: As of April 14, 2025 the developer removed the Android app from the GooglePlay store. We do not have an estimated date for its return.) The app is optional and not required for the Portable Solar Kit to function. Please note: We do not provide technical support for this app.
